Who arrives with whom to the wedding? And other wedding car questions.
We have previously covered some tips when booking your wedding car, however, here are a few more frequently asked questions we receive:
Who arrives with whom to the wedding?
The bride and her father or person giving her away travels in the main car. After the ceremony, the bride and groom travel in the main car to the reception. In the second car are her bridesmaids and mother.
What order does everyone arrive at the wedding?
The groom’s party and ushers should arrive at the venue around 45 minutes early so they can take photographs. The bridesmaids should arrive around 15 minutes early, and the bride no less than 5 minutes early. This leaves a quick few minutes to take some photos.
These times could differ slightly from venue to venue. The most important part is that the groom is in the venue before the bride arrives!
Won’t the guests all be inside when I arrive in my car? Who will see my car?
That they will, however they will get to see the car between the ceremony and reception. Don’t forget that Bluebelle is also a photo booth, so everyone will get to see and even sit inside your car!
What if my ceremony and reception venues are at the same location?
You will be able to have plenty of photo opportunities after your ceremony with the car. If you and your new husband/wife would like a few minutes alone together after the ceremony, we can whisk both off before the reception.
